With the victory, Normal University advances its record to 11-8 on the year. The Pioneers host Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL) to meet the Crimsons in a Central State Eight battle on Friday, January 17. The Crimsons enter the battle with a record of 5-11. Jacksonville lost 55-38 in their recent league battle against Glenwood (Chatham, IL)
The Spartans now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evansville Bosse for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. Springfield Southeast will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 77-60 non-league loss to Lawrence Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-7.
