Texas High School Basketball - Trinidad nips Oakwood
January 14, 2025: Oakwood, TX 75855 In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Trinidad Trojans basketball team scored a close 16-12 win over the Oakwood Panthers.
The Trojans (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Slocum (Elkhart, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region III District 24 contest with a 16-10 record. In their last contest, Slocum edged Oakwood (Oakwood, TX), 64-29, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Slocum Mustangs (Elkhart, TX) in a 1A Region III District 24 contest, on Friday, January 17. Oakwood will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 15-10 record after their 62-37 league win over Neches (Neches, TX).
