Oklahoma High School Basketball - Waurika thwarts Ringling
January 14, 2025: Ringling, OK 73456 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Waurika Eagles (Waurika, OK) and the host Ringling Blue Devils (Ringling, OK), observed Waurika's basketball team knock off Ringling by a score of 53-42.
The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Empire (Duncan, OK). The Bulldogs come into the Oilfield challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Empire dropped by Velma-Alma (Velma, OK), 67-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Central Bronchos (Marlow, OK) in a Oilfield challenge, on Friday, January 17. Ringling will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Bronchos come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 49-38 non-league win over Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK).
