Oklahoma High School Basketball - Waurika fells Empire
January 17, 2025: Waurika, OK 73573 The Waurika Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Empire Bulldogs to 43 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Rush Springs for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Waurika will confront a Redskins team coming off a 74-41 league loss to Verden (Verden, OK). The Redskins record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Empire falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Walters (Walters, OK) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 3-10.
