January 14, 2025: Canby, MN 56220 Canby Lancers (Canby, MN) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN), 58-43 in a league match.
With the victory, Canby advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Lancers host Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN) to meet the Bluejays in a A Section 3 match on Thursday, January 16. The Bluejays enter the match with a record of 13-2. Central Minnesota Christian won 74-36 in their recent league match against Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN)
The Knights now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murray County Central for a A Section 3 match on Thursday, January 16. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 68-49 non-league loss to Pipestone (Pipestone, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 6-9.
