December 27, 2024: Westbrook, MN 56183 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers (Westbrook, MN) and the visiting Canby Lancers (Canby, MN), observed Westbrook-Walnut Grove's basketball team knock off Canby by a score of 35-21.
The Chargers (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN). The Eagles come into the A Section 3 challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Southwest Minnesota Christian was knocked off by MACCRAY (Clara City, MN), 49-46, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lancers encounter the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen (Edgerton, MN) in a A Section 3 challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Canby will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Flying Dutchmen come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 56-21 league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN).
