January 14, 2025: Monroe, LA 71202 Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA), 47-28 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Wossman upgrades its record to 19-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Tioga (Tioga, LA) to face the Indians in a 4A District 2 match on Friday, January 17. The Indians enter the match with a record of 15-6. Tioga won 51-18 in their recent non-league match against Grant (Dry Prong, LA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Prep for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Carroll will face a Panthers squad coming off a 65-27 non-league loss to St. Frederick (Monroe, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-8.
