The Crockett Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Cedar Creek Eagles to 23 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 16-11 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson for a 5A Region III District 24 game on Friday, January 17. Crockett will confront a Trojans team coming off a 47-40 league loss to Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Cedar Creek falls to 1-20 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bastrop (Bastrop, TX) to confront the Bears in a 5A Region III District 24 game on Friday, January 17.
