Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mifflinburg trounced by Central Columbia
January 14, 2025: Bloomsburg, PA 17815 Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mifflinburg Wildcats (Mifflinburg, PA), 65-19 in a league match.
With the victory, Central Columbia advances its record to 10-1 on the year. The Bluejays host Hughesville (Hughesville, PA) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 12-1. Hughesville won 84-8 in their recent league match against Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA)
The Wildcats now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montoursville for a Heartland II match on Thursday, January 16. Mifflinburg will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 52-36 league loss to Milton (Milton, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-10.
