The Lincoln Lions basketball squad (Lincoln, RI), was nudged 40-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI)

With the victory, Coventry advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Oakers host Rogers (Newport, RI) to meet the Vikings in a Division II battle on Friday, January 17. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 3-7. Rogers lost 41-34 in their recent league battle against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI)

The Lions now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Providence for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 15. Lincoln will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 51-34 league loss to Lincoln School (Providence, RI). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.
