Maine High School Basketball - Medomak Valley bested by Erskine Academy
January 14, 2025: South China, ME 04358 Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME), 57-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Erskine Academy advances its record to 10-2 on the year. The Eagles host Waterville (Waterville, ME) to face the Panthers in a B North match on Monday, January 20. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-12.
The Panthers now own a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winslow for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Medomak Valley will face a Black Raiders squad coming off a 66-29 non-league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Black Raiders record now stands at 1-11.
