January 14, 2025: Anchorage, AK 99516 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) and the host Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK), observed Wasilla's basketball team knock off Grace Christian by a score of 50-42.
The Warriors (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kodiak (Kodiak, AK). The Bears come into the 1A Peninsula challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Kodiak was knocked off by Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK), 73-8, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Grizzlies encounter the Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK) in a 3A Peninsula challenge, on Friday, January 17. Grace Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Kardinals come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 45-41 non-league win over Kotzebue (Kotzebue, AK).
