The Potomac Falls Panthers basketball squad (Sterling, VA), was outscored 50-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA)

With the victory, Meridian advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Skyline (Front Royal, VA) to meet the Hawks in a Northwestern battle on Friday, January 17. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 12-2. Skyline won 50-17 in their recent league battle against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA)

The Panthers now own a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a Potomac battle on Wednesday, January 15. Potomac Falls will meet a Ram squad coming off a 40-27 league loss to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Ram record now stands at 3-7.
