The Meridian Mustangs defeated the visiting Briar Woods Falcons basketball squad by a final score of 48-37 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) in a Northwestern outing, on Friday, December 6. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 68-24 league loss to Millbrook (Winchester, VA).
