In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Wausa Vikings basketball team scored a good 48-28 triumph over the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors.

The Vikings (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph (Randolph, NE). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Randolph was topped by Homer (Homer, NE), 63-15, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs (Humphrey, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Neligh-Oakdale will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record.
