California High School Basketball - Deer Valley trounced by Liberty
January 14, 2025: Brentwood, CA 94513 Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA), 48-20 in a league match.
With the victory, Liberty advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Lions host Emerald (Dublin, CA) to meet the Aerouants in a match on Friday, January 17. The Aerouants enter the match with a record of 5-14. Emerald lost 35-20 in their recent league match against Freedom (Oakley, CA)
The Wolverines now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pittsburg for a match on Friday, January 17. Deer Valley will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 43-40 league loss to Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 8-5.
