January 14, 2025: Rock Island, IL 61201 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rock Island Rocks (Rock Island, IL) and the host Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL), observed Rock Island's basketball team knock off Alleman by a score of 70-50.
The Rocks (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record.
In their next game, the Pioneers encounter the Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL) in a challenge, on Friday, January 17. Alleman will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record.
