North Carolina High School Basketball - Providence Day fells Cannon
January 14, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28270 The Providence Day Chargers basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Cannon Cougars to 37 in the Chargers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Charlotte Country Day School for a game on Wednesday, January 15. Providence Day will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 82-63 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Cannon falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 5-4.
