California High School Basketball - University City holds off St. Augustine
January 14, 2025: San Diego, CA 92104 The University City Centurions basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host St. Augustine Saints to 53 in the Centurions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Centurions now have a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Scripps Ranch for a game on Friday, January 17. University City will play a Falcons team coming off a 64-37 league loss to Mission Bay (San Diego, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, St. Augustine falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA) to play the Dons in a bout on Friday, January 17. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Cathedral Catholic won 60-58 in their recent league bout against Mission Bay (San Diego, CA)
