California High School Soccer - University City nudges Mission Bay
January 14, 2025: San Diego, CA 92109 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) and the host Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA), saw University City's soccer squad hold off Mission Bay by a score of 1-0.
The Centurions (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Clairemont (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains enter the battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Clairemont was edged by Hoover (San Diego, CA), 12-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, January 16. Mission Bay will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 1-0 league loss to Point Loma (San Diego, CA).
