In Saturday's non-league match, the host Central Rockets basketball team scored a good 58-38 triumph over the Wheaton North Falcons.

In their next game, the Rockets meet the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 17. Central will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 15-3 record after their 65-64 non-league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, IL).
