The Lyons Lions tipped the host Central Rockets basketball team by a final score of 49-44 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver game, on Friday, January 28. Lyons will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record.

With the defeat, Central moves to 17-3 on the year. The Rockets host Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL) to face the Gators in a Fox Valley test on Tuesday, January 18. The Gators go into the test with a record of 10-8. Crystal Lake South lost 67-44 in their recent non-league test against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL)
