Colorado High School Basketball - Mead overwhelms Greeley West
January 15, 2022: Greeley, CO 80634 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) and the host Greeley West Spartans (Greeley, CO), saw Mead's basketball squad wallop Greeley West by a tally of 71-39.
With the victory, Mead improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Centaurus (Lafayette, CO) to play the Warriors in a 5A/4A Northern challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Centaurus won 55-42 in their recent league challenge against Longmont (Longmont, CO)
Next up, the Spartans play the Erie Tigers (Erie, CO) in a 5A/4A Northern challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Greeley West will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 66-57 non-league loss to Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO).
