Vermont High School Basketball - Harwood nips Lamoille
January 15, 2022: Hyde Park, VT 05655 Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT), 48-44 in a league bout.
With the victory, Harwood upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to U-32 (Montpelier, VT) to play the Raiders in a Capital bout on Wednesday, January 19. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 7-4. U-32 lost 72-45 in their recent non-league bout against South Burlington (South Burlington, VT)
Next up, the Lancers play the Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 19. Lamoille will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Crimson Tide come into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 72-31 league win over Lake Region (Orleans, VT).
