South Central Trojans (Greenwich, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH), 62-44 in a league bout.

With the win, South Central upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Plymouth (Plymouth, OH) to play the Big Red in a Firelands bout on Friday, January 21. The Big Red go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Plymouth lost 73-30 in their recent league bout against Western Reserve (Collins, OH)

Next up, the Mounties play the Monroeville Eagles (Monroeville, OH) in a Firelands bout, on Friday, January 21. Mapleton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record.
