The Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) basketball crushed the host Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, TX), 63-39 in Saturday's league test.

The Buckeyes (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Hawks go into the 4A Region II District 15 test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Pleasant Grove was trounced by North Lamar (Paris, TX), 62-30, in a league test.
