In Saturday's non-league match, the host Preston Indians basketball team scored a decisive 45-15 triumph over the Star Valley Braves.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Soda Springs Cardinals (Soda Springs, ID) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 19. Preston will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 7-9 record after their 43-36 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID).
