Illinois High School Basketball - Longwood fells Leo
January 15, 2023: Chicago, IL 60643 Longwood Panthers (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Leo Lions (Chicago, IL), 48-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Longwood upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Panthers travel to Simeon (Chicago, IL) to play the Wolverines in a Chicago Public - Red South bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 16-1. Simeon won 52-39 in their recent non-league bout against Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY)
Next up, the Lions play the Uplift Titans (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Leo will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Intrinsic (Chicago, IL).
