January 15, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21221 The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers basketball team (Severn, MD), was toppled 64-52 in Monday's league battle with the host Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD)
The Cougars now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilman for a MIAA A - Black battle on Wednesday, January 17. Our Lady of Mount Carmel will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 82-79 non-league loss to New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-5.
The Cavaliers (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Glenelg Country (Ellicott City, MD). The Dragons come into the MIAA A - Black battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Glenelg Country was toppled by Friendship Tech Prep Academy (Washington, DC), 72-51, in a non-league battle.
