Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest Academy beaten by Carmel
January 15, 2024: Lake Forest, IL 60045 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Carmel Corsairs basketball team scored a good 59-41 triumph over the Lake Forest Academy Caxys.
In their next game, the Corsairs meet the Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic match, on Tuesday, January 16. Carmel will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 11-7 record after their 77-51 non-league win over Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL).
With the defeat, Lake Forest Academy moves to 5-11 on the year. The Caxys host Latin (Chicago, IL) to meet the Romans in a Independent School challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Romans come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Latin won 71-65 in their recent league challenge against Northridge (Niles, IL)
