Illinois High School Basketball - Wheaton-Warrenville South crushes Lake Forest Academy
January 15, 2024: Wheaton, IL 60187 Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), 51-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wheaton-Warrenville South upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Metea Valley lost 54-52 in their recent non-league bout against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)
Next up, the Caxys play the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Lake Forest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Corsairs go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 76-56 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL).
