January 15, 2024: Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA), 32-24 in a league bout.
With the win, Blue Mountain upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA) to clash with the Spartans in a Schuylkill County 1 bout on Thursday, January 18. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 6-1. North Schuylkill won 58-45 in their recent league bout against Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA)
Next up, the Indians clash with the Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 bout, on Thursday, January 18. Lehighton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Olympians go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 70-38 league loss to Panther Valley (Lansford, PA).
