Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), 64-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Clearfield upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Bison host Bedford (Bedford, PA) to clash with the Bisons in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Bisons go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Bedford lost 63-35 in their recent league bout against Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Friday, January 19. Penns Valley Area will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 64-57 league loss to Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA).
