Illinois High School Basketball - Watseka crushes Paxton-Buckley-Loda
January 15, 2024: Watseka, IL 60970 Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL), 48-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Watseka upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Manteno (Manteno, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Manteno lost 57-32 in their recent league bout against Peotone (Peotone, IL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Paxton-Buckley-Loda will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 50-33 non-league win over South Newton (Kentland, IN).
