Illinois High School Basketball - St. Charles North holds off Prospect
January 15, 2024: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) and the host Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), saw St. Charles North's basketball squad hold off Prospect by a tally of 59-55.
With the victory, St. Charles North improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The North Stars host Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Hinsdale Central lost 83-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Fremd (Palatine, IL)
Next up, the Knights confront the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge, on Friday, January 19. Prospect will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 2-18 record after their 44-39 non-league win over Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
