Georgia High School Basketball - Twiggs Academy winner over Windsor Academy
January 15, 2024: Jeffersonville, GA 31044 The Twiggs Academy Trojans (Jeffersonville, GA) basketball felled the visiting Windsor Academy Knights (Macon, GA), 47-38 in Monday's non-league test.
The Trojans (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA). The Crusaders go into the GIAA A Region 6 test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Robert Toombs Christian Academy was beaten by Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA), 41-31, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Central Fellowship Christian Academy for a GIAA AA Region 6 test on Tuesday, January 16. Windsor Academy will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 58-40 non-league loss to Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The Lancers record now stands at 11-7.
