California High School Basketball - Pajaro Valley triumphant over Anzar
January 15, 2025: Watsonville, CA 95076 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Pajaro Valley Grizzlies (Watsonville, CA) and the visiting Anzar Hawks (San Juan Bautista, CA), observed Pajaro Valley's basketball team overwhelm Anzar by a score of 72-48.
The Grizzlies (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity Christian (Monterey, CA). The Warriors come into the PCAL - Santa Lucia challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Trinity Christian was ripped by Anzar (San Juan Bautista, CA), 60-51, in a league bout.
With the loss, Anzar falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Kirby Prep (Santa Cruz, CA) to play the Griffins in a PCAL - Santa Lucia bout on Friday, January 17. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Kirby Prep won 58-40 in their recent league bout against Ceiba College Preparatory Academy (Watsonville, CA)
