The French Settlement Lions basketball squad (French Settlement, LA), was outscored 55-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA)

With the victory, St. Charles Catholic advances its record to 15-11 on the year. The Comets travel to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA) to meet the Cavalier in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Cavalier enter the battle with a record of 13-8. De La Salle won 48-38 in their recent non-league battle against Willow (New Orleans, LA)
