With the victory, South Gwinnett advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Comets travel to Rockdale County (Conyers, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a battle on Thursday, January 16. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 7-0.
The Tigers now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16.
