January 15, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87114 The Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM), 59-32 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Volcano Vista will play a Jaguars team coming off a 58-51 non-league win over Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Los Lunas falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 3-6. West Mesa won 55-46 in their recent non-league game against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)
