January 17, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), 68-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Volcano Vista advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Jaguars now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cibola for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Atrisco Heritage Academy will face a Cougars squad coming off a 44-42 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
