West Virginia High School Basketball - Pocahontas County victorious over Webster County

January 15, 2025: Dunmore, WV 2493

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Pocahontas County Warriors basketball team scored a good 61-47 triumph over the Webster County Highlanders.

The Warriors (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Summers County (Hinton, WV). The Bobcats go into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Summers County was toppled by Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV), 61-34, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Highlanders confront the Roane County Raiders (Spencer, WV) in a Little Kanawha - East contest, on Friday, January 17. Webster County will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 46-36 non-league win over Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV).
