January 15, 2025: Cornish, ME 04041 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) and the host Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME), observed Richmond's basketball team knock off Sacopee Valley by a score of 37-26.
The Bobcats (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Islesboro Central prevailed over North Haven (North Haven, ME), 35-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) in a C South challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Sacopee Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 47-45 non-league loss to Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME).
