Washington High School Basketball - Republic defeats Curlew
January 15, 2025: Republic, WA 99166 The Republic Tigers (Republic, WA) basketball were winner over the visiting Curlew Cougars (Curlew, WA), 42-30 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cusick for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Republic will play a Panthers team coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Selkirk (Ione, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Curlew falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Pateros (Pateros, WA) to play the Billygoats/Nannies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Billygoats/Nannies go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Pateros lost 53-13 in their recent non-league bout against Oroville (Oroville, WA)
