January 15, 2025: Lithonia, GA 30038 M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA), 42-33 in a league match.
With the victory, M.L. King upgrades its record to 3-7 on the year. The Lions host Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Rams enter the match with a record of 4-0. Arabia Mountain won 53-48 in their recent league match against Decatur (Decatur, GA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Grove for a match on Saturday, January 18. Decatur will face a Saints squad coming off a 44-33 non-league win over Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Saints record now stands at 5-0.
