January 16, 2023: Abingdon, VA 24210 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Mission Challengers (Grundy, VA) and the host Appalachian Christian HomeSchool Warriors (Abingdon, VA), saw Mountain Mission's basketball squad overcome Appalachian Christian HomeSchool by a tally of 75-63.
With the victory, Mountain Mission improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Challengers travel to Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Betsy Layne lost 74-69 in their recent non-league challenge against Martin County (Inez, KY)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Knoxville Ambassadors Ambassadors (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Appalachian Christian HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Ambassadors come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 57-53 non-league loss to Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN).
