January 16, 2023: Durham, NC 27703 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fellowship Baptist Academy Eagles (Durham, NC) and the visiting Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC), saw Fellowship Baptist Academy's basketball squad knock off Wilson Christian Academy by a count of 61-43.
With the victory, Fellowship Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hilltop Christian (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Hilltop Christian won 61-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Forest (Wake Forest, NC)
Next up, the play the Greenville Christian Academy Knights (Greenville, NC) in a NCCSA AA East Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Wilson Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 43-39 league win over Southside Christian (Clayton, NC).
