Massachusetts High School Basketball - Hopkins Academy crushes Hampshire Regional
January 16, 2023: Westhampton, MA 01027 Hopkins Academy Golden Hawks (Hadley, MA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hampshire Regional Raiders (Westhampton, MA), 83-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hopkins Academy upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Golden Hawks host Lenox Memorial (Lenox, MA) to clash with the Millionaires in a Hampshire - South bout on Thursday, January 19. The Millionaires go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Lenox Memorial won 76-56 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Everett Regional (Sheffield, MA)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Springfield Renaissance (Springfield, MA) in a Bi-County - West bout, on Friday, January 20. Hampshire Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 80-44 non-league loss to West Springfield (West Springfield, MA).
