January 16, 2023: Oregon, IL 61061 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) and the host Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL), saw South Beloit's basketball squad wallop Oregon by a tally of 71-45.
With the victory, South Beloit improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Sobos travel to East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. East Dubuque lost 53-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL)
Next up, the Hawks confront the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Oregon will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 47-41 non-league loss to East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL).
