January 16, 2023: Portsmouth, VA 23701 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) and the visiting Kempsville Chiefs (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Manor's basketball squad overcome Kempsville by a tally of 65-48.
With the victory, Manor improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Churchland (Portsmouth, VA) to confront the Truckers in a Eastern challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Truckers come into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Churchland lost 69-2 in their recent league challenge against Norview (Norfolk, VA)
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Kempsville will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 41-20 league loss to Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA).
